Wine description

Rigorous selection of mature grapes in a great vintage like 1997, and complete storage in big traditional oak vats for five years has produced this very fine example with its bouquet and aromas denoting a superb concentration finishing on soft and smooth tannins . “Torricelle” (small towers) takes its name from the towers one sees all over the ionic coast , where they were built as watch tower to forewarn of Turkish and Saracen invaders.

Food recommendation

Seasoned and tasty cheese like Stilton, Roquefort or Gorgonzola , desserts with dark chocolate.
